Desparasithation

Post by saturnino »

I would like to know what is necessary for the desparasithation of lake tanganika fishes and also the name of the product to be used in this desparasithation. ( for exemple Flagyl) and the frenquency.

The fishes i have in the aquarium is tropheus, ciprycromis, brevis, Julidichromis, Calvus, Compressiceps, Eretomeus e Lamprologus Ocellatus e Wernni.

Best regards

Hi Saturnino

Gosh, I am not good at big words like that! desparasithation?? I tried looking that up but I couldn't find anything... Flagyl is a form of Metronidazole, a med that I would use for a bacterial infection.

You don't want to treat your fish unless you know exactly what is wrong with them. I don't think it is healthy to treat your fish with meds as a preventative.

I am so sorry, but I am not exactly sure what you are asking about, so please start a new message and ask again!

Thanks,
Pam
