NEW tank need help
I have a new 36 gal tank and I put crushed coral in it ontop of a under ground filter and I washed the coral first but it still kick up a lot of coral dust. Do you think I will lhave to take it all out and rewash the coral? I also wated to add a whisper filter ontop you think that is a good idea? And last is the guy from the fish store told me to put about 2inches of coral on top of the filter but it looks to think to me.
Thanks
Chris

Chris,
It probably will not be necessary for you to remove the coral again. I would first try to clear it up by doing water changes in the tank. Stirr up the gravel so you can remove some of the smaller particles. It it is not too bad this should work. You can add an additional filter to the back if you want to. 2" is about right to cover your filter plate. Once you get your filters running this should help it clear up too.
