hi pam.
the fish i talked to you about died from bloat or as you said a catch all phrase for other diseases. I took the fish out of the tank and disposed of it and ran out the door to catch a plane flight. when i returned i went to dump the hospital tank that i had left and i noticed these 1/4 inch worm looking things going from substrate to surface and back down again. do you have any idea what they are??? They just keep going up and down all day long? Just curious as to what they could be. thanks
frank
what are those??

fm,
Hard to say exactly with out a picture. But if they are lighter colored and on the glass they call those dirt worms. The tank just needs to be throughly cleaned and you should be able to rid your tank of it. They are not harmful to fish, they are just more ugly to look at. But it is telling you its time for a water change.
