Tropheus "Kasanga" (Red Rainbow)

Post by James Shingler »

Sorry me again. My group has just fallen apart after 5 years in a 750 litre aquarium. (This always seems to happen to me at about this time) this one happened just after removing juveniles for sale but may be coincidence. I am left with just one adult (? sex) and two juveniles (posably damaged by bad water. If I wanted to try again should I use these fish or get all fresh? How many would I need and how many would be ideal? Should I go for unrelated fish or just one sorce?

Hi James,

I think you are better off starting with a new group. Juviniles, and allowing them to grow up together, makes for a stronger bond in your group. Trying to merge to groups is an aggression nitemare. It will be much easier to start over. I think 24 is a good number to start with, and if they all come from one breeder that is fine.
