Hello Pam,
I found an Intersting artical posted on another forum about these fish being one in the same and may see a name change in the hobby.

What are your thoughts on this Pam?
Thank You,

Hi Mr. "A"!
I tend to be more of a lumper then a splitter but in the long run it really doesn't matter. Responsible hobbyists will continue to keep their collection sites and strains separate. I know that I will. It really isn't too much of a surprise to most who keep these species as they have long noticed that they had to be closely related. In the big picture I think this is minor and I think that as more research with DNA is performed that there will be bigger shockers!!!
Cichlid Power!
