Hello again,
First I have some sad news. My tropheus was killed by my aurautus and by my i believe demasoni. I tried to save him in my "hospital" tank, but sadly, I was too late. below though is a picture of him/her. I would like if possible for you to identify the type of tropheus if possible so i can look for another if i end up setting up another tank like i plan for just tropheus's.

now below here is another picture of what you think is a mbuna as well. ive done some more research and i too think its a mbuna, and prolly a demasoni. So if you could confirm that be great.

now if this is a mbuna, i was planning on taking out my auratus, and making a strictly mbuna tank. if i do this, these are the other types i was going to put together. please let me know what you think. oh and also id end up getting another demasoni if thats what the blue fish is.

2 Iodotropheus Sprengerae (Rusty)
sorry pic wont load properly.
2 Labidochromis sp. Hongi
I have too many urls, so if you want a pic of this one just let me know...
2 Pseudotropheus Sp. (Elongatus Chewere)
<a href="http://img250.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ererj6.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/3426 ... rj6.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at http://www.ImageShack.us" /></a>
2 Pseudotropheus sp. "Zebra Long Pelvic"
<a href="http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... vickh1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/2715 ... kh1.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at http://www.ImageShack.us" /></a>
figured id send the pics too just to make sure in fact the proper species names are listed. So basically if you can help identify the two fish, and then let me know what you think about the mbuna types and amounts id again be forever greatfull.
Thanks again so much for your time and consideration,
Aaron

Hi Abenso,
Sorry to hear about your Tropheus, they do better in groups. Melanochromis auratus is a nasty mean fish, and if you want to do something for your tank, you should trade that fish in. They love the chase as much as the kill. An easy way to remember to stay away from the Melanochromis mbuna is that most have horizontal stripes, stick with the mbuna that have vertical stripes and your tank will be more peaceful. Its really best not to mix Lake Tanganyikan fish with Malawi fish.
I can't get any of these photo's to load, but the later messages they loaded correctly and I have commented on them.
Cichlid Power!
