H.carpintis Econdido tankmates

Post by erpbox »

Hi Pam.

I'm starting up a new 125g tank

I want to keep a small group of H.carpints (3.5"). What tankmates do you recommend? How many carpints will de right?

best regards
Jorge!

Hey Jorge,

Nice a 125, that can give you lots of options. I think it would be best if you get all your fish at one time or as close as you can. They need to juveniles and be able to grow up together, this way they will tolerate each other. If you try to introduce adults you can have some aggression issues.

I would suggest looking at some of the Veija species; maculicauda would be a nice one!
