Hi there I was just wondering if you had heard anything about the ps Saulosi programme in the lake and when do you think they will be available for catching.
Thanks,
Alistair Burr.

Alistair,
What you see on the link is the last I have heard. Maybe Pam has heard more.

Re: Pseudotropheus Saulosi
Hi Alistair,
I am very concerned about the status of Pseudotropheus saulosi in the wild. In my opinion this fish should not be collected or imported at this time. The population has not recovered yet. I have heard someone received wild fish in Europe, which means exporters are not listening to the majority of worldwide hobbyists who are requesting collectors to abstain from collecting this fish. It is a crying shame! There are MILLIONS of Pseudotropheus saulosi in the hobby, please find yourself a responsible breeder and buy some stock.
Cichlid Power!
Pam
