Hi madfishmiami,

If you belong to any forums or facebook let the word out that you are looking. Lots of hobbyists never list what they have available, so don't be afraid to ask around.

Regular ornatus should be fairly easy to find, but albino ornatus, man that is a tough one. I haven't seen it for many years. Julidochromis are not bred on mass basis, most in the hobby come from other hobbyists.

Find out if there is a local fish club in your area, and if you can't find one then just start looking for one in your state.

You can also try Aquabid.com there are people listing fish from all over.

At one time the ACA was the place to find rarer fish, but with the internet most people don't list what they have anymore. They are selling in their local and regional clubs, and places like Aquabid.

J. ornatus is a joy to work with, so I sure hope you are able to locate some.
