I bought two pikes several weeks ago, but still cannot find out what species they are. I have found a picture online that looks just like the two I have. I hope the link I have posted works. Also I have been keepng cichlids for 8 or so years now, but I have never kept Pikes until now, I am having some aggression issues between the two. I was wondering would it be a good idea to get another one to even out any aggresssion. The smaller one is still eating fine and I make a special effort to make sure its gets any live food I give them, but it doesn't move from the corner of the tank, he is pretty much pinned there by the bigger one.
Here's the link of the pic of the pike:

Thanks for your help.

Re: Pike ID?
Hi Matt,
Dang, I am not sure which one that is? I am on my way out the door for a week in Mexico. I think it would be best if you could get some pictures of yours and post them on the Cichlid Room Campanion Forum : http://www.cichlidae.com/forum/index.php
There are some serious pike keepers that should be able to help you ID and give you some advice on housing.
They can be aggressive towards each other, and if one is pinned in a corner, and only tolerated, I don't think that is a good situation.
Wow, you have been keeping fish a long time!!! You don't need me!
Cichlid Power!
