Well it is not really well known in the hobby, but it looks like a couple of importers have brought them in lately, so there seems to be some interest. It is bi-parental substrate spawner, found in shallow streams in the head waters of the Amazon. They like slightly acid to neutral water. They remind me alot of severum, but they don't get as large, what I like about them is the big red eyes, those are fantastic.
From what I understand they are fairly easy to keep, it is availability that seems to be the issue.
