REF: Sick Fish

Post by Namvet15m »

Pam,
TY for your timely response. I think your assessment is correct. Having internal air supply issues, is this a sign of an older fish, water issues or what. We inherited this fish and have had it for over 2 years. Like I said originally the fish seems the be laboring in its breathing. If I move it with a stick slowly so not to injure it seems to swim ok, but soon retunrs to the bottom of the tank and sort of lies on its side.

Thank you

Ted,

Okay the best thing to do is just keep the water clean, and hope for the best, if you think the fish is suffering or getting picked on then you night want to Isolate it.

Good Luck
