Tropheus swolleness

Post by agryman »

Hello Pam,

Greetings from Costa Rica!

I hope you are doing fine.

A friend of mine has this Tropheus:

This Tropheus has been like that for 4 months already!

Any idea what can be done? He has been eating and pooping fine. I know bloat comes to mind, but not sure if it could last that long.

Best Regards,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

It so hard to diagnose fish, it certainly appears to be bloated up, but if it has had this condition for awhile and it is still alive, it hard to say.

I wish I could be more specific, but it is just really difficult to say.
