Piotr Koba was born in 1990 and lives in Poland. He has been interested in everything connected with fish since he was 3 years old, and have kept them since the age of 10. Nowadays he is interested primarily in Central American cichlids but he always emphasizes that it is hardly possible not to love all these fantastic creatures gathered in the Cichlidae family. He shares his passion for cichlid fishes with his friends, family, and other aquarists.

Since 2009 Piotr is the editor of the Polish version of the Cichlid Room Companion.
