Ted Judy and his family live in Creede, Colorado, a small town in the heart of the San Juan mountains. Ted is the science teacher at the jr/sr high school and a local fly fishing guide and casting instructor.

Ted has been keeping and breeding aquarium fish for 25 years. During that time he has had an interest in just about every aquarium genre, but has been mainly interested in the dwarf cichlids from west Africa and South America.
