Steve Bansee, who is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies, immigrated to Canada in 1985 and now resides in Manitoba, where it hits -45° C (-49° F) in the winter. Steve got his start in this hobby when he acquired a 25 gallon tank for his then 2 year old daughter. Steve’s small fishroom contains a wide variety of fishes, including Apisto’s, Tanganyikan shell dwellers, Angels, Killies, Rainbows, Cory’s and some others. But his main interest is in Planted Freshwater Aquariums of which he has two that are up and running.
