Same here. Is it because I am new?

Julie and Garstkajr,

Yes, it's because you are new. There is a procedure, and I believe it is you have to post once in the first 30 days after you join, which you have now done. It's a spam prevention thing. Please send another PM (you can send it to me, if you like), and see if it works now.

i hope the two of you got your PM fixed. Now for my question--anybody know why some of my messages hang up in the Outbox vs. moving to sent?

i have sent a number of PM's that have worked--now i have a couple "hung-up."

Possible they sit in the outbox until recipient has logged on and view their messages.

i hope that's the answer--so, all of the GCAS community please check your PM's in case you got one from me. i do know who the needle in the haystack is--but, a good check by all the players of their PM's seems like a good thing to do on the first of August.

so, the needle in the haystack contacted me--and sure enough, when he opened my PM it moved from "outbox" to "sent" on my view. who woulda known--clearly, steve knew. now you all know.

I had a couple PMs to the same person sit in my outbox for over a month. When they finally went, and they did, I found out that the person had been out of town for that period, and had not logged on during that time. Also, I believe that PMs hang in our outbox until the other member actually goes to their inbox, meaning a simple logon to the basic forum doesn't move them along.
