Robert Allgayer
It is with great sorrow that I communicate to you that Robert Allgayer has passed away last night. Robert was a French ichthyologist known for his many works on cichlids, which included his participation in the elaboration of the Cichlid catalogue (Pisces, Perciformes, Cichlidae Bonaparte, 1840), as well as the scientific description or many American and African taxa, bot at generic and specific level. Robert was also an important propel and collaborator of the French Cichlid Association. He will be missed. Au revoir Robert

Re: Robert Allgayer
Why not. He has done a lot for us.I'm not sad...
The only pity was that many of his publications remained within the france cichlid association.

R.I.P Robert Allgaier, I find it hard to underestimate his contribution to the cichlid association
