Xystichromis sp. "Kyoga flameback"

I recently received 10 of these fish. They are 1"-1.5" in size.

I have heard you can keep them with Peacocks as long as they are mild mannered.

I am looking at only keeping CARES list cichlids moving forward.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what would work well with the Kyoga Flameback?

How are you and your Kyoga flamebacks?

i commend you for you commitment to keeping endangered species listed in CARES list cichlids.

From my experience with keeping peacocks with K flame backs is not too bad.

the fish was housed in a 55 pentagon.

I provided floating plants my flame backs and smaller fish used to getaway from attacks.

i introduced a power head to create current and thus causing tank mate to conserve more energy rather then fighting

the kyoga flame back out grew my other fish because he got to more food hidden in the floating plants.

If you, Mr BURGH or any one did proceed to mix them with peacocks how was you experience please share.

I would like to see more Kyoga Flame Backs in MALE HAP AND PEACOCK TANKS!
