Anyone get anything at the Akron auction?
I got Thorichthys ellioti fry. Pretty excited about these. I've only seen show fish.

Re: Akron auction
Hello Jombi,
I recall catching the ellioti a million years ago on a trip with Juan Miguel in Jalapa Mexico. They were gorgeous, with a deep red belly and spangles on the sides. The name ellioti was later changed to maculipinnis based on research Juan Miguel had conducted. It encompasses fish from a wide range and there is a lot of variability in coloration. I'm sure you'll enjoy them!
I got a fabulous bag of java moss to go into a tank with Tatia intermedia. It was rife with snails. I saw some interesting Tanganyikans but didn't pull the trigger on any. Had a good time though catching up with several Pittsburgh boys.
Regards,
Don
