Witamy w sekcji poświęconej cudownym pielęgnicom z jeziora Tanganika, należącym do plemienia Ectodini. Plemię to uważane jest za najbardziej zróżnicowane pod względem morfologii i zachowań w całym jeziorze, a obejmuje gatunki żyjące nad skałami, piaskiem, czy mułem; u jednych tylko samica inkubuje potomstwo, u innych oboje rodzice.
