Tanganyika: Lusembwa Point
Conservation: The most significant risk to this area is water and air pollution, caused by the increasing population. Farming and livestock put water at risk. Air pollution is caused by fires; used for cooking, trash burning, and clearing the land.
Overfishing is a risk due to the use of illegal tackle and the setting of nets along the shoreline. Both are standard practices and depleted fish stocks have been noted by the government.
