In April of 1996, Lee Newman friend to all of us here at The Cichlid Room Companion, traveled to Uganda as part of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association’s "Lake Victoria Species Survival Plan" or LV-SSP. The details of his trip can be found in his fantastic article "Cichlid Conservation in Uganda".
Lee has generously donated some photographs of wild specimens taken in Lake Nawampassa. This interactive article displays these photos with a link to The Cichlid Room Companion’s discussion forum on Lake Victoria Cichlids. Feel free to use this link to discuss thoughts and insights you might have on these species.
