Updates of cichlid profiles

In my last user tip, I wrote about favorites as a way to keep easily accessible bookmarks of our favorite information, in this e-mail I will tell you about receiving notifications about updates to our desired cichlid species. With this feature activated, you can receive digest e-mails with new information about your favorite species.

Updates of cichlid profiles

To get updates on any particular species profiles, which include updated information, new reference, new picture, new video, a new offer in the trading system, and others, you simply have to click on the link “Get updates” that is located under the tabbed menu bar found in each species profile. Immediately after you click on the link it will disappear, you are then subscribed to updates on that particular species.

If you then visit the “trivia” tab on your user page you will see at the top, under the title “Species profile subscriptions I have” all of the species for which you receive notifications, to remove any of the species, you simply select it from a drop-down list menu at the bottom of that page, selecting the species name, then “Species profile subscriptions I have” and clicking on the remove virtual button to the right.

When there is a new or updated item for any or several of your subscribed profiles you will then receive a digest e-mail, sent daily, which includes all updates to the species profiles for which you have subscriptions, with links to them. If there are no updates, you will then don’t receive any e-mail. You can be subscribed to as many species profiles as you wish.
