保育: Chindongo socolofi 被評鑑為國際自然保育聯盟瀕危物種紅皮書名單中的 (LC) 無危 (2018). Chindongo socolofi is a common species in its native range which is spread out over a fairly large part of the central Mozambique coast which covers a shoreline of about 30 km. The species is too small to have any importance for local fishermen.
