Individual in the aquarium
A yawning individual of Pterochromis congicus from Lac Mai Ndombe [Democratic Republic of Congo] in the aquarium of Oliver Lucanus [Canada]. The fish seems to be extremely rare in nature, often being outnumbered by Tylochromis, Hemichromis, Sarothoredon and Tilapia by 100 to 1.Photo by Oliver Lucanus.
