Conservation: Andinoacara stalsbergi is not evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species. Pollution from cities and industries is abundant in the distribution area of A. stalsbergi, particularly in the lower courses of water and may pose a risk to this species.
