Conservation: Amphilophus sp. 'xiloa fatlip' is not evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species. This species should be considered as vulnerable, since it is just found in the small crater Lake Xiloá, and apparently just in very small numbers.
