Preserved individual at MRAC
Preserved specimen of Hemichromis bimaculatus from Bong County [Liberia] at Musée Royal de l'Afrique Centrale [MRAC]. the pictured specimen actually corresponds to Hemichromis fugax, which is now considered a synonym of Hemichromis bimaculatus, for which a precise type locality is not available and for which the types are so badly preserved that serve little for identification purposes.
